As the name suggests, this level is based on Princess Toadstool's castle as seen in Super Mario 64 and Paper Mario, complete with stained glass window and red shingles. Naturally, the palace has undergone some remodeling for its GameCube debut. Princess Peach's Castle is made up of two sloping roofs and a tower in the middle. To add some variety to the otherwise straightforward setup, there is a floating platform on each side of the building that move up when you step on them. Note that due to the sloping rooftops, players cannot hang on to the edges of the stage.
